Another busy day at the office, but was able to get through some more tutorials. This time triggers and win conditions. The system for the Lego tutorial is pretty simplistic, however having a lot of the level, including scripts, be, essentially prefab does seem like a very wise idea when building larger sets.
One thing I will need to dig into early is how to map controls reliably and consistently. Because of the way the control engine behaves in the tutorials, I pretty much have the find the joystick every time I fire it up. Definitely not conducive to fun. But that’s for another day.
